Ms. Delilah picked me up today to take me on a home visit aka field trip! Yippee! I did really good in the car except I kind of ate Ms. Delilah's "to-do" list and she got a little upset because she lives by lists. I know she likes Craig's list too.
At my home visit I got to meet a real awesome lady named Ms. Deb. She met us with her dog, Chelsea, for a walk. I tried to play with Chelsea but she told me to back off for now until she got to know me better! We went on a nice walk together through the forest. I never seen a forest before. Lots of good smells. Then we went back to Ms. Deb's house. We hung out in the backyard to introduce me and Chelsea off leash. So far so good but she keeps telling me to back off; she's not ready yet so I'm respecting her like Ms. Delilah told me to. She told me I have to treat the lady dogs nice. While there I learned how to use a doggie door. That's funny a dog has it's own door to the house. Ms. Deb bought me a big stuffie and I got to play with it while there. I also got lots of treats, a rawhide, and they gave me a new treat I've never had before...ICE CUBES! Yum Yum. I got to meet Ms. Deb's son too and I was hanging out with him and his friend outside. I've never got to hang out with the boys before.
Ms. Deb really likes me. She thinks I'm special. I'm going to have to put my rock star career on hold for awhile; a better offer has come along: a home.

I'm A Messy Eater
So ok I have this little problem of knocking all my food out of my bowl and it goes everywhere. Then I don't eat it and I've lost some weight. I told Auntie M that I've got to practice on my drums somewhere and I accidently knock it out. What's a rocker like me to do in this kennel?

Malachi gets in Trouble!
So Auntie M picks me up from Natural Pawz after my first event to take me back to the clinic and I notice this box in the car. It had a picture of a dog on front so I figured they were for me. I didn't want to bother Auntie M while she was driving so I helped myself. Auntie M wasn't very happy with me when we got to the clinic. She says I can't help myself like that and I need to leave things alone. Auntie M says everything is a game or a toy to me. Hey at least you can distract me with treats :)
Malachi gets his horns!
I'm soooo EXCITED! Ms. Delilah, Auntie M, Mr. Craig, Uncle H, and Mr. C all went to go see my favorite rock band AC/DC and they brought me back some horns! They went to Dallas to see them hoping Ms. Debbie would go with them but she couldn't go so they all did Dallas without Debbie. I went to my first event at Natural Pawz in Sugar Land yesterday too and got to wear my horns. I couldn't headbang though because they kept flying off and Ms. Delilah said I can't break my horns! They blink too if you turn them on. Ms. Delilah and Ms. Kim said I did really good at my first event. Lots of people came by to see me and I got tummy rubs all day. Ms. Delilah is keeping my horns because she thinks I'll chew them up or break them. See my other "horn" pictures down below and see my first event pictures here!

I Want to Be a RoCk StaR!
So I’m sitting in my kennel bored out of my mind; my buddy Banks got to go to a home and now I have no one to hang with. Auntie M started playing some tunes for me when she stays and hangs out with me at night. Man, the tunes are the bomb. They’re this band called AC/DC. AC/DC RULES! I told Auntie Margie I want to be a Rock Star and I want to play the drums so I started showing her how I can play the drums. With some practice I can just as good as the drummer in AC/DC. She let Ms. D listen to me play on the phone last night so I’m getting some exposure. I got to keep practicing! Auntie M told me the drummer can’t make a band though, I need other members. She told me about this singing chick, Tula, up in Dallas that would make a good lead singer. A hot chick in my band would be awesome. She also said a new guy is coming Sunday and will be here a little bit like me. His name is Keno and maybe he can be part of my band? Banks knows how to play the squeekie so I need Auntie Margie to call him and see if he wants to be in my band. She says if we get good enough we can perform at our annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser in San Antonio for Mr. & Mrs. F. Here’s a song I’ve been working on..."My name means the messenger and I’m coming for you….na na na hey hey. I met some ladies who liked a guy name Craig. But Craig wasn’t so nice and the ladies got even. I’m the messenger and I’m coming for Craig…Don’t be mad at me baby, I’m just the messenger. Nananana". Does that sound good? I also found a green wig I can wear in my band. I brought it to Auntie M but she called me silly!...She said it an octipoose.

My Kennel Buddy
While I'm hanging out at Auntie M's clinic, I made a new friend. His name is Banks. He's also in a kennel run. Auntie M would let us both out together and we would play. But Banks is going to a foster home soon and they may even adopt him. That sucks. I have to wait until my funny skin spots are all ok before I can split this place like a banana! What's a boy like me to do all day in this kennel.

My New Digs
The nice lady talked with Auntie M, Ms. D, and Craig?; they decided the best thing for me was to go with Auntie M so they can find me a home that suits me. But first they had to get me in Auntie M's SUV, I didn't know how? I've never been in a car before and the nice lady had trouble when she got me too. The Craig man had to lift me and Auntie M push me in. Ms. D thought it was pretty funny.
The nice lady also had to take me to the Vet when she first got me because she noticed funny skins spots on me. The Vet says I have Demodectic mange and I got to take medicene so it can go away and my hair grow back in the funny spots.
Auntie M took me to the Vet Clinic where she works and I'll be staying there until I'm all better. I got to meet some of the kennel girls when we got there. They were really nice to me. I checked out the cat cages too. Auntie Margie took more pictures of me; see them here!

Craig?
Remember the lady I told you about being home alone on New Year's Eve and looking for malamutes on Craig's List? Well she found me on the list and she sent an email to the nice lady that had me. Her name is Ms. D. She called the nice lady and they talked all about ME! Ms. D told the lady to not give me away, that she could help me and find me a good home. She volunteers with the Texas Alaskan Malamute Rescue. She said I looked like someone she knew. The nice lady invited Ms. D over to meet me. Ms. D and this nice man show up to meet me. I wondered if that was Craig with her. He was so nice to me. I found a new friend. Later another lady came over. They told me her name is Auntie M and she is going to help me too. Look here at the pictures they took of me.
Craig Who?
A nice lady found me off some man's list. His name was Craig? My breeders told her I was ok around small dogs but I really wasn't and I gave the nice lady's little dog a couple boos boos. I didn't mean to but I'm so big and I wanted to play too rough. She got scared and didn't think she could handle me. She went back to that guy Craig about me. Another nice lady was home alone on New Year's Eve and bored. She decided she want to go look at Craig's list and look for Malamutes. I guess Craig is popular with the ladies?
